I wonder if I can make a post that references all of my categories…

1) Baby dreaming – Still not pregnant (or trying, of course)

2) Certifiable, undeniable – In therapy, getting quite a bit out of it. Sometimes I take my Wellbutrin, sometimes I don’t. I attribute being able to go to bed at a reasonable hour to not taking it. After around a week of “accidentally” forgetting, I get a little snappy. I see my regular doctor later. Maybe I will ask him for a different drug.

3) Deadly poison, deadly poision, Ahh! Tasty fish! – I have mastered microwave baked potatoes (scrub, poke, salt, 5 minutes, turn, 5 minutes, done). Mmmm.

4) Elsewhere on the Internet – I have had the same 3 items in my LL Bean “Shopping Bag” all weekend (khaki skirt and two tshirts) all weekend and have not even bothered to find my credit card. What am I going to do with a skirt?? Apparently khaki skirts are what all the rilly (no spelling error) super cool girls are wearing this summer (along with some of the ugliest damned shoes I’ve ever seen) and we all know I’m a shameless follower.

5) Ha! – Apparently there is a career out there where women actually make more than men, CNN says. The story is a video link and I don’t bother clicking those, but I bet it’s either modeling, hooking or porn actress. We’ve come a long way, Baby.

6) I Are Educated – Forgot what the word cliche means

7) Indiana – Happy First Anniversary to my baby brother Macauley/Bill and his beautiful wife Michelle. I can’t believe it was just a year ago that I was cluttering up your wedding pictures. If you get married again I promise to not look like a cow.
Let’s Get Ready to Ramble – Part of me says this is all a big ramble anyway, so, that’s enough for now.

9) Life in Cheesecake City – Baskin Robbins has a new Reeses Peanut Butter Cup sundae and when I went to get one today they were out of some integral part of it. Jerks.

10) Mahjobiscrappis – Despite apparently not getting along with my coworker, I did manage to get stuck buying her a group birthday gift. (Toady: if you’re reading this, it’s going to be a Yankee Candle. Act surprised!)

11) Nerds Ahoy – Gene gave away all of his “Poker” stuff. (Whoooo! He’s not sad and I’m thrilled to reclaim the floor of my coat closet)

12) Reading Writing Listening To – Supposed to be reading The Worry Cure, have actually written two entire pages this weekend (hurray!) and Sirius 22 is on the TV but I have it muted unless something good comes on.

13) Snaked Again, Naturally – No goofy religion related stories now, sorry.

14) Someday When I am Queen of Everything – I don’t know, but when I am queen of everything, it will rock.

15) Sweet Things My Husband Has Done – He cooked me a yummy steak for dinner tonight. (We bought a new grill)

16) That’s Entertainment – You should really rent the movie Accepted. It stars the Mac guy from those “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” ads. And is mind blowing-ly hysterical, although, not as funny as Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.

17) The Family – Things are pretty good w/ the Boy. I hope he works hard the rest of the school year to bring his grades up.

18) The Hounds – Are going on vacation to summer camp when I go to MI for the girls weekend because Gene is going to Texas for a concert and then somewhere for work.

19) Travels – I WILL BE GOING TO MICHIGAN IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. YIPPEEEE!!

Ta-Da!

Or people who can’t do math. One of those.

But, if I were to mysteriously win…

First, I’d quit my job if I won even $100k. Even after taxes that buys me a few years. But if I won the big bucks…

Second, I would pay off our house.

Third, I would buy Gene a car. Whatever absurd set of wheels he desired. Even another Infiniti M35x, black on black. (Fucking A, that car was sweet).

Fourth, I would buy my Grandma’s house and rent it to my brother and his wife. And when I came to town I’d stay there. While I could theoretically buy the house for them, did you see that I won’t have any income? How else will I pay for…

Fifth, 911, bay-bee.

Sixth, I would personally commission Mountain Buggy to make 1 more Mountain Buggy Urban Single in cabana blue print. Holy moly, what a hawt set of first wheels for Plan B.

Seventh, I would buy a new couch.

Eighth, the couch would go in our lakefront house with the dock and the huge windows with the lake view with a big ass terrace where Gene and I could sit and watch the lake in the morning with our coffee (or cocoa) and in the evenings with our martinis.

Ninth, I would do something really wonderful for my parents. And my favorite Aunt.

Tenth, I would go to London on my own damn dime on that airplane where the first class seats turn into beds.

Eleventh, Mile High Club, duh.

Twelfth, I would buy myself a job at Sirius so I could hang out with the people on Channel 22, First Wave.

Thirteenth, Nanny.

Fourteenth, Another Nanny.

Fifteenth, weekly cleaning lady. And one for my Mom.

Sixteenth, weekly massages.

Seventeenth, I would totally be a Deadhead-type person the next time the Eagles tour.

Eighteenth, I would get my chin mole fixed because I feel like a troll.

Nineteenth, I would chill and write something. I’d have two nannies and a cleaning lady, I need something to do.

Twentieth, I would buy Don Henley guitar lessons because watching him walk around on stage with his guitar around his neck and not freaking do more than strum the damned thing just annoys me. It’s a musical instrument, not a watch. It has a freaking purpose.

Twenty-first, I’d buy a joke writer for Glenn Frey. If I hear him call Take it to the Limit the “Credit card” song one more time…

Twenty-second, I’d make sure D’s daughter gets through law school without those pesky student loans.

Twenty-third, the Boy and Plan B would not hurt for a blessed thing.

Twenty-fourth, I’d totally fuck with nature to make sure Plan B is a Plan G(irl).

I’m not saying that money buys happiness, because of course it doesn’t. But I’m willing to bet it helps!

Today is D’s birthday. I took her to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant. My boss gave her a bunny figurine meant to hang off bookshelves. She also hugged D. Yuck. So after we finished getting all the nasty germs off D’s arms…

Anyway! Happy Birthday to D!
Happy Birthday to D!
Happy Birthday Dear Deeeeeee!
Happy Birthday to D!

Not a lot new with me. Have gone on mini online shopping spree. Bought throw for the boy for Xmas, another sham (so will have matching set) from the dreaded Pottery Barn (so, Erin, there is a new PB catalog? Oh, nooooooooo!!), gizmo for cleaning dryer fuzz from Brookstone (such a worthless store, so why no coupon codes? HMM?), Cheaters (the TV Show) hat for Gene for Xmas, and two items for two blog readers. I think it’s usually better when I labor under the delusion that I am not supposed to shop online. Cheaper, too.

Finished re-reading both Bridget Jones books. So much better than either of the movies. And then I went crazy putting books on my library reading list. Tomorrow I’m picking up 7 (SEVEN) items from the library. I have, what? 21 days to read them (or renew), which gives me 3 days per book. I may have to call in crazy to work.

Oh, PT went well. Going again Friday AM and then Tuesday/Friday AM for a few weeks. I am so terrible about doing the exercises. After PT, drove to yuppie mall across the street from the house and parked in remote part of parking lot and read. I told D today that it was a present to myself. The reading lasted about maybe a half hour and then I got hungry.

The PowerBall has grown to $340 million. At work, we conned one of the girls who was going down to one of our locations in a PowerBall state to buy us tickets. I could only come up with $3. If I were to win the big money, I’d pay someone to live an interesting life so my blog would be more fun. And I would quit my job so quickly, heads would spin, heads would roll and the dust would choke everyone else.
