(but now there’s more… how did that happen?)
2) Take orange/purple lights off of porch (hey, wasn’t Halloween 6 days ago?) — CHECK! (did it yesterday since I never got home before dark during the Bachelorette week)
3) Finish Gone With the Wind, start Atlas Shrugged again. I may just put down GWTW for awhile because an entire WEEK of Gene-free (that is, TV free) time happens so rarely that the quiet will come in handy. If I’m not up to Atlas again, I could just read the VC Andrews books that I have hidden in my closet (Brandy: it’s the Heaven series, bought on Ebay for $5). — CHECK! (sorta) Still reading GWTW, but I did start Atlas (I’m on page 70, I think).
4) Nails appointment on Wednesday. Or Thursday? Patty’s on vacation part of the week so I know my appointment has been moved, but to when? — CHECK! The appointment was on Thursday (see post re: Patty-cure)

Besides that, watched Angels in America, The Women, Goodbye Mr Chips, The Bachelor (it was easy — I PVRd it and skipped to the Most Traumatic Rose Ceremony EVER!), The Apprentice, South Park (technically that was last night…), Dilbert (also technically last night).
I also…worked 36 hours, wrote exactly zero new words in the novel (siiigh), IM’d with the awesome Julie at least twice, went to Babies R Us, Dillards, the Pet Shop, the vet’s office 10 times (5 to drop off, 5 to pick up), Wendy’s, McDonalds (24 hour McD’s for dinner at midnight last night), Taco Bell, the grocery, Blockbuster and Jason’s Deli. I also ate salsa con queso for dinner Monday before remembering that it’s not as good at home as it is eaten with your best friend in Indiana. I never made it to the bookstore, but since it’s literally across the street from my neighborhood, tomorrow is another day…

Ooh! And I went to the Dollar Store for decorating/Secret Santa stuff after Bridget Jones yesterday.

I’m already planning what I’ll do the next time Gene’s out of town (early December). More baby browsing? Yeah, probably. if anyone gives me a hard time, I’m going to tell them my sister in law is due in (oh, let’s guess here…) February and wanted me to make sure the stuff on her registry is not total crap before her big shower in (oh, let’s make something else up…) January, although I was planning on giving her something really great for Christmas as a big combo present. Michelle, if you’re reading this, I know you’re not pregnant, you just make a very good decoy. Hmm…maybe if I make up a registry using a fake name and email address…(or else, won’t they say “oh, what’s on her registry?”). Then again, I have a baby registry that I made just for kicks. (Better stop typing…this is getting scary).

Ooh! My brother Macaulay/Bill and his fiancee Michelle are getting married in April 2006.
