I’m going to be totally honest, internet… it is 7:25 PM, I worked all day today and I am ready for bed. I can’t tell if it’s because I’m still sick from the trip, if it’s because I am still jet lagged from the trip or if it’s because I had a teaspoon of cough syrup w\/ codeine seven minutes ago. Seven minutes surely isn’t long enough for it to hit my blood stream, but still I am ready for bed. I think I will turn off the fireplace, lock up the house and invite the dogs to keep Gene and I warm (for the record, Gene is already in bed), and go the hell to sleep.<\/p>\n

I hope all is well with all of you.<\/p>\n
