I&#8217;m supposed to have off from mid December until January 2&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So now we only have one day off from work (Friday), but I&#8217;m pretty excited. Work has been busy but with long lapses of time wasting such as Secret Santa and ever frequent discussions about &#8220;Do you want to pool our money and get (boss) a present?&#8221; I usually take these people up on their offer because it&#8217;s just easier that way. So far I&#8217;m in a pool to give presents to 4 entire bosses (CFO, Controller, HR Director and CEO\/Chairman). That just leaves my own Payroll boss, who I shopped for all by myself, like a big girl.<\/p>\n<p>Secret Santa has been fun. Yesterday&#8217;s clue talked all about penguin types so D thinks I gave it away. That&#8217;s cool. I actually figured out my Santa Monday, although she is very creative and designed a crossword puzzle of clues. Monday&#8217;s gift was a fancy nail file, Tuesday&#8217;s was a sleep mask. Today I&#8217;m giving a whole lotta cool stuff&#8230;Yankee Candle, assorted note pads\/sticky notes\/cheapie calendar.
