Frankly, it wasn’t all that new – the girl behind the counter used to work at their old vet’s office. She says she sees a “lot of familiar faces”. Yeah, I bet!

In other doggie medical news, Scooby is on a pill to cure whatever issue it is that has caused him to sometimes go obsessive-compulsive on his little puppy…err, you know. And Betty’s fine, just fine – but the vet says “Don’t let her get any heavier!”. If I had a dollar for every time a vet has told me that. She’s a beagle/corgi mix. Corgis tend to be long and stocky, and that is Booper to a T. We’re going to watch her food intake further and try to get more exercise for her by actually walking the dogs. I really thought 3 days of doggie daycare (running around and playing all day) would have actually helped her to walk off the calories, even though they were feeding wet food and we’d feed dry food at dinner. Oh, well. If she gets much heavier, she runs the risk of having back issues. Hopefully the beagle in her will not let that happen.

Not sure what we’re doing today. Gene wants to go take a ride in the new car tomorrow but we’re not sure where. We’re near a lake, and that’s very pretty, but you really need a boat for that, not a car…

PICTURES… …of the new car! …of the Dyson (I don’t wanna brag, I don’t wanna boast, but this thing ROCKS)! …probably of the dogs!
