Because I am lazy! And have to work all day the day before Thanksgiving!)

If you’re wondering, these recipes use a combined 75 pounds of butter and a tractor trailer of sugar.

PS: The menu for the week of Thanksgiving will go something like this:

Monday: Chili dogs, maybe. I have a helper elf that day so maybe I won’t dirty up the kitchen.

Tuesday: Grilled cheese, maybe. That’s the day the sofa arrives and the carpets get cleaned. And I have to make pasta salad if Gene hasn’t done it already.

Wednesday: Inlaws arrive, we are ordering pizza from Donatos. Yum. Much better than Pizza Hut.

PPS: I cannot tell you how much I wish I had next Wednesday off to get stuff done.

PPPS: The grocery list is two pages long!

Okay, this is more for my reference than anything else, but here is the planned menu for Thanksgiving 2010: Appetizers: White Bean Dip with Pine Nuts (w/ pita) Cream Cheese, Sausage & Rotel Dip (probably w/ tortilla chips) Nuts & Bolts (baked Chex mix, family favorite, using Blanche’s recipe) Entree: Rib Roast with Garlic and…

[14

post-2225","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-deadly-poison-deadly-poison-ahh-tasty-fish
["GET
