While I know that most of any readers I score will be from my small group of friends and family, maybe somehow someone will stumble across this blog will be people who don’t actually know me. For you, Dear Reader, I write this list of Things That I, a Person You Don’t Know and Will Probably Never Meet, Like to Do, Read, Watch and Listen To:<\/p>\n
1. Favorite Hobby: Writing. I actually hold a 4 year journalism degree from a college up in IN. Silly me, moving to a state with an even BETTER journalism school. Since the j-degree hasn’t helped a lot, I toil away at my Great American Novel. I’ve toiled away since 8th grade and it’s still not done. But it is getting better. \n2. Favorite Website: www.cnn.com<\/a>. Yeesh, how dull. Okay, how about www.theonion.com<\/a>? I’m one of those morons who gets all of her political news from the Daily Show.
\n3. Speaking of which, Favorite TV Show: South Park. Yes, I know the only people watching are 100 million 14 year old boys and me. It’s still damned funny and if you don’t think so, try to catch last year’s Christmas episode, which was classic and impressive.
\n4. Favorite Movie: Gone With the Wind tied with Howards End.
\n5. Favorite Book: Ditto (when I said ‘ditto’, please don’t think I just forgot to type ‘head’)
\n6. Favorite Magazine: Vanity Fair, any travel magazine I can get my hands on, trashy gossip magazines when I’m getting my hair colored
\n7. Favorite TV actress: Marg Helgenberger. She is smokin’. I am comfortable enough in my heterosexuality to say so.
\n8. Favorite Stupid Reality Show: The Bachelor(-ette). I’m still irked that the rich guy with the wine couldn’t make a go of it but that blonde girl is married. Huh?
\n9. Favorite Word: F***. My mother tried and tried to keep me from cursing so much but it didn’t take and now when I get frustrated the first thing that pops out of my mouth is “Oh, **** me”. Sorry, Mom.
\n10. Favorite Office Supply: That white out on a roll stuff.
\n11. Favorite Drink: Wild Cherry Pepsi. I’m a Pepsi drinker, the company I work for is a restaurant that serves Pepsi and I have been known to make lunch and\/or dinner choices based up on the Coke vs. Pepsi debate. I truly believe there are 2 types of people, Coke folks or Pepsi people and I’m a Pepsi Person. Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepsi Person too?
\n12. Favorite Food: This one is in flux, but I’d have to say first and foremost I love good sushi. Tip for the Day: Don’t eat sushi on Sunday unless you’re at a restaurant next to the ocean and you can see the sushi chef’s fishing pole. Sunday’s sushi is Saturday’s sushi, just a day older and most restaurants do not get a shipment on Sundays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
