Today’s topic on the Sploofus Word Puzzles was 1980s Hair Bands. I got the first two with only one letter guess each, and the last one with only one as well (it was a particularly hard to spell band name and I didn’t know if I could spell it). Turns out I can.<\/p>\n
It’s been a busy week here at Cheesecake City, in case my sporadic blogging wasn’t a clue. Tuesday night we picked up the boy and we didn’t get home until after 11. I don’t remember what we did Wednesday but Thursday we went to see Madagascar and out for sushi for dinner. Madagascar was hysterical – I just loved the scheming penguins!!<\/p>\n
This weekend is shaping up to be busy as well. Gene leaves for Ohio Sunday (by way of the boy’s house – he’s going along as well. I wish I could go) and Saturday we’ll do “whatever I want”, but since I have to get Gene’s clothes clean and\u00a0the boy\u00a0packed, I don’t think we’ll be doing too much of anything. Laundry.<\/p>\n
And…because of the hot, sexy geek lawsuit I mentioned a week or two ago, Gene and his friends can’t play D&D at the place they used to play at. Therefore, I’m going to have a house full of geeks at my house tomorrow night from 9-12. Yes, as in midnight. Ugh.
