Good news: Our A\/C is working again. Now that it’s getting a little cooler outside. Oh, well. But now I can do one of my favorite things, which is to fall asleep under the heavy comforter with the A\/C on.<\/p>\n
Some weird things at the office — not going to go into details since I promised I wouldn’t, but I’m glad to know I’m not imagining things!<\/p>\n
Tonight we were laying on the living room floor with the hounds and Betty climbed onto Gene’s lap to take a rest. A little later she did basically the same thing with me. Maybe it’s just my age (same age as when Mom had me) and it’s definitely in the environment around here (something in the lake water?) but I’m clearly an oddball with my childless lifestyle. (Yes, we’re not exactly childless 26 weekends a year and the month of July, as long as nothing better is going on at Britt’s Mom’s house).<\/p>\n
