Within a one mile radius, our sandwich shoppe options include Subway, Atlanta Bread Company, Camille’s (not sure if it’s a chain) and Blimpie’s, but the Panera is new and well, we like new. So we hard-charge our way in past all the SAHMs and other Lake ******* wives with nothing better to do than hang out at lunch at 1 pm wearing cashmere. (I hope any SAHMs reading this understand that my issue isn’t with them, it’s with the SAHWs who get to fool around all day while I’m alphabetizing 401k enrollment forms or something).<\/p>\n
Anyway…so I decide to order a panini but I want it on regular bread instead of that hard crunchy bread. They don’t allow substitutions! Okay, I say in my best reasonable HR voice, how about if you don’t heat it up and put it on regular bread. No no no. I mean, there are twelve bread options (not including things such as brownies, which would have been yummy but not practical). It’s not like the chicken on the sandwich is RAW. This stuff comes in 50 gallon drums already cooked. Geez. Additionally, they were over priced and didn’t have fountain drinks which is just a crime in the South, even here in Little New York.<\/p>\n
I think the Bachelor is coming on, either now or in an hour. Ooh, and tonight’s South Park episode is the one where Cartman turns his hand into Jennifer Lopez. heheheheheheheheh.
