Sunday and today, we just did stuff (how lame does that sound?). For instance, I cleaned 2 bathrooms, did 3 loads of laundry (washed and folded – even the last load), made the bed, vacuumed the bedroom and kitchen, mopped the kitchen. Gene paid the bills and got off the bed when I told him to. If we or the dogs develop an allergy to Febreeze I am in a serious amount of trouble. When I make the bed (with clean sheets, usually weekly), I Febreeze every layer. I think it’s the kind that is OK for pets. Maybe it kills dust mites or something.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, I had a horror movie moment. Ahhh! In the guest bathroom shower, which never is used, I stuck my head behind the curtain to see if it needed a rinse (I don’t clean it because it hasn’t been used in years) and AHHH! a big spider. AHHH! AHH! (Gene says it was tiny but he was WRONG). So I decide, oh, let’s rinse the tub out (it was dusty), and forgive me if I focused on the spot where that damned spider was. It finally got all dead spider scrunchy, so I turned the water off. Just as the spider got to the drain, I saw a spider leg peek out from the drain. AHHH! So I try dousing it again. And then again. I finally had to have Gene pick it up and flush it for me. AHHHHH!!<\/p>\n
Oh, and the dogs are home. The kennel didn’t open until 4 PM on Sunday, but when I called Saturday she said 7 AM. The dogs, Gene, and breakfast walked through door about 7:05 AM yesterday. I’m thrilled to see them, but I really planned to sleep in a few more hours.<\/p>\n
