I was driving to Chili’s to pick up our super healthy dinner (Surely it’s normal to eat two and a half entire Southwestern Eggrolls for dinner), when Annie’s Song by John Denver came on the iPod. I love that song. If I had married a singer, I’d want him to write that kind of song for me. So fabulous. I sang along loudly, with gusto and arm movements ala Celine Dion. Oh, I love that song.<\/p>\n
And then…Kyle’s Mom is a Big, Fat Bitch from the South Park soundtrack. Love, love that song too!<\/p>\n
I don’t know which song I’m more ashamed to love. Only 13 year olds watch South Park anymore, but…John Denver?<\/em><\/p>\n But really…I reinjured my back a few days ago, so OUCH. I think it peaked yesterday. I spent the evening and night flat on my back, watching TV and sleeping (Thank you, Flexeril!). I’m not sure if I’m going to return to PT. Frankly, I’ve come so far and since I’ve been released, we can go ahead with the medical portion of the legal dealings after the accident.<\/p>\n What annoys the holy living hell out of me is that when Gene’s sick, the heavens part, there are drinks with bendy straws, there are yummy foods built for comfort, there are blankies if he wants blankies. When *I* am sick, there is the bed. Or at least the 10% of it that hasn’t been claimed by a dog or a husband. And somehow “You figure out dinner” was translated into “I got McDonalds for myself, but I can make you soup!” Uh huh. Guess who marched his happy ass back to McDonald’s last night around 8? Thank heaven the Flexeril prevented me from having to watch whatever crappy show Gene had on. I think it was one of the aliens in the water shows. Stupid TV. Speaking of….<\/p>\n Dear Networks, please cancel the crappy shows Gene likes that I hate. He doesn’t have good taste and it’s time that we save him from himself. Thank You.
