\n1) Xmas music all day long at work. It’s killing me. I don’t know what’s worse, the 8 versions of the Christmas Waltz or the 2 versions of Christmas in Killarney. I totally miss the old crappy Christmas music.
\n2)Speaking of Xmas, I have done absolutely no real Xmas shopping. If Gene ever gets off the phone I’m going to tell him that we’re either going to finish the Xmas shopping by the end of the weekend or else I’m going to request we go hide at the Westin for Xmas.
\n3) The Westin idea actually isn’t a bad one. Hmmm.
\n4) Haven’t decorated the house for Xmas either. No tree this year, but I had hoped to put out the lit garland and red bows on the outside of the house. I loved how…classy it looked last year. Hmm. Maybe I’ll just post a picture of that.
\n5) Still sick. Mostly just lethargic, sneezy and coughy. I think the cough will be the last to leave which is sucky because I hate coughing.
\n6) D rocks. She saw how down I was today at work (see #5) and went to Arby’s specifically to get a Pepsi for me.
\n7) Although the house is as Christmassy as a gravesite, my work area at work is now covered in wrapping paper. Total cost $5. It would have been more but I didn’t use all the wrapping paper. I decided that I am a GIFT to my employer and that as such, I should make my desk a giant present.
\n8) I need to get back on the cooking thing. You seriously should check out the Naptime Gourmet<\/a> site. Yummy sounding recipes that I fully intend to cook sooner or later. Tonight’s dinner was mediocre stir fry. I can heartily NOT recommend the Birds Eye frozen stir fry veggies. I would have done better to just stir fry the beef and microwave Green Giant’s Schezuan veggies. Oh well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
