Not a lot new here. I’ve been working very hard as it’s a payroll week. No matter how much I get done there’s more left to replace it. I haven’t taken a proper lunch hour this week at all so I left “early” today at 5:30. Things are finally going a\u00a0little better after my company’s IT “Transition” earlier this year.<\/p>\n
After work I had a pedicure. It’s my first pedicure since Patty “retired”. I miss Patty. The pedicure was only a few bucks cheaper and there were differences. What especially bugged me was that after the pedicure was finished, I was given my little ticket to take to the front and to pay. At my usual salon they had a dryer for drying pedicures and I could stay under the dryer for 20 minutes if I wanted to. And believe me, I wanted to!! Drying for as long as possible is the secret to a long lasting pedicure, IMHO.<\/p>\n
And when I came home, Gene had made dinner. Tonight was Rockin’ Salad Night. (We are trying to eat salad once a week…it’s not especially health food, but it’s always so good!). Last night was Dream Dinners Steak Gorgonzola. It was good but I think it would have been better a few days ago. Oh, well.
