My resolutions are…<\/p>\n
1) Spending Xmas 2007 knocked up, with my family and my in-laws at my house.<\/p>\n
2) Lose more weight in anticipation of getting knocked up.<\/p>\n
3) Write more. No, not here.<\/p>\n
4) Get my toes done.<\/p>\n
Gene and I spent NYE 2006\/7 right here at home, watching The Producers on HBO or Starz or whatever. Around 12:05 I looked up at the clock and said, “Oh, hey, Happy New Year!” Gene brought us glasses of champagne (from the basket o’ goodies from New Boss) that he’d turned pink using a little cranberry juice. He added ice to the glass and all of a sudden we had, “Pink Champagne on Ice”. Ya know, like “Mirrors on the ceiling \/ pink champagne on ice \/ we are all just prisoners here \/ of our own device” (to quote “Hotel California” by the Eagles)<\/p>\n
Hee hee. He and the boy have been giving me a ton of shit about the whole Eagles\/Walmart thing and this was the eventual outcome. Gah, that was some horrible champagne. The cranberry juice actually helped.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
