well, for a few minutes that is. I had a lunch date w\/ D today and New Boss called me to ask a question so I volunteered to stop in to help out (the restaurant for lunch was only a few miles away from the office). Lunch was awesome – Mexican food at our favorite place. It’s been ages since I’ve had lunch with D so it was just nice to talk to her. (Talking to her at work is never as much fun since we can’t really let loose).<\/p>\n
After that I had an interview with another headhunter. Bleh, nothing to report there. It’s good to get your name out there in case something cool happens, but I don’t expect much to develop. The interview was in a small conference room (6-8 seats). The lady I met with said “A nice conference room for the two of us to talk” (or something close to that) and I piped up, “I didn’t know I could bring my posse.”*<\/p>\n
(I really should exercise some discretion).<\/p>\n
