Found out yesterday that I get tested again MONDAY.<\/p>\n
I am so glad I called the doctor’s office to check on that.<\/p>\n
Last night, I also dreamt (dreamed?) I failed it.<\/p>\n
I’m not sure if it’s a fasting test and if they’ll make me drink that crap again (ugh – can I get time off for good behavior when I actually am pregnant?).<\/p>\n
What if I do fail it? Can I make them keep testing me on and off on the off chance I accidentally pass it once?<\/p>\n
(What if I pass it? Donuts for everyone!<\/strike>)<\/p>\n
But what if I fail it? After all I have done (given up regular soda, donuts, peanut butter cups, loaves of bread from Outback Steahouse, walked a trillion or more miles on the treadmill and around the neighborhood) I’m still too sugary? (Ach, I know I’m sweet but this is too much). What if they want me to take insulin and shoot it into myself? I hate shots.<\/p>\n
Nothing but protein until 12 AM Monday morning (test is at 8:30). Can I buy non-glucose resistant blood somewhere on the Internet? Maybe from Craigslist?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
