In the Great American Job Hunt…yesterday I emailed 5 resumes. Today I faxed 2. No progress on the going in and filling out an application…still too chicken for it. I also managed to lose a contact lens this morning. Hooray.<\/p>\n
In other exciting news…Scooby has been eating mud pies outside and puked something that looked an awful lot like tar. In perfect puppy logic, he did this right in the living room less than a week after Stanley Steemer was here. Gene graciously used our steam cleaner to clean it up then declared we needed a “better” one that had features our old one doesn’t. I think our old one hasn’t been used in years and years and years. Anyway, after dinner we went to Target and bought the Bissell Little Green machine and he used it. He’s very happy with it.<\/p>\n
Gene called the vet and they want us to make an appointment for Scoob to be x-rayed to make sure the eating dirt and grass thing isn’t just part of some weirdo parasite eating habits he developed on the streets. (Much of Scooby’s first 11 months was spent homeless). I can see where this thinking comes from…Scooby is a very strange eater. We feed him 1 cup of Bil-Jac dry food twice a day and he usually only eats some or part of 1 of them. He is not a dog-like eater at all. The vet hypothesized that Scooby could have a blockage that’s causing all of this.<\/p>\n
