Now that I’ve scared my mother (see post below re: work), I feel like I should post some good things.<\/p>\n
1) I can check my personal email all day long at work. With New Boss out of pocket, I do! While this sounds like I’m being a shitty employee (and I admit it’s not the best business practice out there…), my employer’s insurance carrier can’t send us email directly to work, so I kindly gave him my super duper email address for home. And, for good measure I also check my Gmail accounts eleventy trillion times a day<\/strike> once or twice because maybe they somehow got my GMail address. You never know!<\/p>\n
2) Gene and I went to a comedy club tonight (yes, it’s Tuesday) and the comedians were pretty funny. And we had a good dinner, too, as the comedy “club” (on Tuesdays – on Saturdays it hosts wedding receptions and the rest of the week maybe hosts AA meetings or Amway conventions) is above a pretty decent restaurant.<\/p>\n
3) My little nephew is turning 2 years old Saturday (dangit, forgot to get a card…) and a big box of assorted books (per the request of the parents) is coming his way.<\/p>\n
4) Betty has learned to open her kennel door, provided it’s unlocked.<\/p>\n
5) Despite the overwhelming odds, I eventually remembered that “H” comes after “G” alphabetically.<\/p>\n
6) (But I had to think about #5 pretty hard….no sense in making an ass out of myself on my own blog)<\/p>\n
