Happy Mothers Day, mom.<\/p>\n
When I think about my mother, I usually think about the selfless things she did for us while I was growing up. She worked two jobs off and on, sometimes to the point where she worked two full time jobs during a day. When I was at Ball State, if I needed anything, she brought it to me. I was just thinking about the time I moved into my own apartment at the start of senior year and Mom drove up by herself a day or two after the big move in to check on me, totally unannounced. And there was the time my keyboard died and mom drove all the way up there to bring me a new keyboard (why didn’t I just go to Target?). Ball State is a cool hour away from my parents house, so it wasn’t a quick jaunt.<\/p>\n
Right now, the plan is for my mom to come down to visit during the first week of July. I can’t wait! I don’t see my mom enough.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
