Thanksgiving 2007 is coming up way too quickly. For once, my in-laws aren’t coming down here to celebrate with us. At one point we had plans to go up there instead but I really don’t want to. Ideally, I’d love for Thanksgiving to just be Gene and I this year (super ideally, the boy would be there, but I don’t think I’ll get that).<\/p>\n
If we stay here for Thanksgiving, hopefully we can see both families at Xmas instead. This year I’d love to spend real live Xmas with my family and whatever red-headed stepchild of Xmas with the in-laws. (Not because I don’t truly love my in-laws, but I have seen them every Christmas day since 1999…enough, y’know?). This is the time of year when I wish we lived up there so I didn’t have this problem. Luckily, it’s also the time of year when it’s freeeezing up there, so it makes returning to Cheesecake City a little easier.<\/p>\n
