I’m too lazy right now to pop an Eddie Izzard DVD in the player, so I looked him up on YouTube to show all both of you, my dearest readers, the wonderment that is a man in a dress and eyeshadow performing standup comedy. Eddie is on tour right now – he was in Indy the weekend I was in Columbus and holy cow it was tempting to blow off the 3 year old’s party and go see him instead. (Bad, bad Aunt Lainey).
Anyway, that said, this is a little long at 6 and a half minutes but it is I think the funniest part of the entire Dress to Kill performance. Gene hasn’t seen the DVD because a) we have the CD that doesn’t include this part and b) he is not comfortable watching Eddie Izzard in full-on executive transvestite garb. His loss. If you hated French class, this one’s for you.
