So, I’m going to Indianapolis for my birthday. Yea!!! 🙂
Now “all” I have to do is book a flight. Somehow, doing this is harder than I imagined. My travel dates are air tight and can’t budge, plus Gene may be out of town when I go so I have to figure out how to get the dogs to the kennel, which is kinda hard when the flights (at least the nice cheaper ones) are all departing at 6:30 in the morning or similar. I would really rather not have our daily dog letter-outer (since she doesn’t walk them, just lets them out) come over multiple times a day because I’d rather Scooby & Betty get the all day ass-kicking that only a deluxe vacation allows.
So, I’m going to just not do anything for a little while, maybe a few days. Hopefully some mythical flight that leaves Cheesecake at about 10 in the morning and arrives in Indianapolis at half past 10 in the morning will pop up for less than $200. (BTW: those flight times are completely impossible so this is unlikely).
One of the things I’d like to do is see The Eagles in Indianapolis while I’m there but I priced that…yikes! Whoa. The “good” seats aren’t that great and even one mediocre seat actually costs more than the flight I’m most interested in. Thanks guys. (Sorry, not dropping $200 for this- that buys a lot of White Castle).
(mmm, White Castle).
Anyway, I hope Indianapolis is ready for an onslaught. I’m a’comin’!
PS: Dear D, guess who gets to handle FedExing out all the paychecks while I’m gone? It’s either you or Gwen and I would bet big money that she’ll stick you w/ it.
