on the cheap beagles. I don’t think it’ll help matters if I tell you about their stunt today. Gene called me mid-day to give me some bad news. (Quick segue: Why does he call me and talk about bad news in such a grave voice? He needs to only use that voice when someone is dead). One of the dogs has chewed through the pet nest (see pictures below…I know there’s one somewhere) and the filling is EVERYWHERE. Argh. I go on with my day, glad everything is OK if not perfect.
Then I get home…The hole is big enough for my fist to go through and they also chewed through the lining, which is why there is filling everywhere. And when I say “filling”, I don’t mean cotton wadding. It’s 10,000,000,000 little pellets, the size of … oh, I don’t know. Something small. And when I got home they were still on the floor. So I cleaned all those up (some w/ my bare hands, the rest with the Dyson – do you know how much dog hair I picked up????). I’m still finding them in out of the way places. For instance, I see one right now on the floor of my office here at home. Ugh. I think this will be like glitter, how you find it a year later.
