1) Did I tell you that I had some Sploofus fan mail from my Sploofus hero? (Actually, he’s the person who posted about Sploofus on one of the gossip newsgroups and I was curious and went over and, well, the rest is freaking history!) He said :::swoon::: he liked my Simpsons or Futurama quiz!!! Ahhhh!! I wonder if he notices that I take all of his quizzes and rate them a 9? (9 is “amazing” on the Sploofus scale). Don’t worry – he’s a gay man from Prince Edward Island (at least, I THINK he’s gay…) in Canada so it’s not something weird. I just think he’s funny.
2) Did I tell you that I think the atheists should have a head of state, too? I watched the end of the Pope’s funeral Friday morning (the news wasn’t on, and well, this is America so I had to have the TV on anyway…) and it was really very sad. 🙁 Anyway! Atheists need a head of state, too, to make decisions. Actually, a Magic 8 Ball or Ouija Board might actually work out fine instead and would make it less likely that the Atheist Pope end up dead and in an oil drum somewhere (I believe that’s what happened to Madalyn Murray O’Hair).
3) Did you just notice how she spelled her first name? That is very funny. I wonder if all those idiot trendy moms who like to spell names funny (Jazmine, Suzan, Cyndy, Myles [ha ha], etc) realize their precious Madalyn has the same name as the notorious atheist?
4) The boy’s health thing isn’t really a big deal. Hope I didn’t scare anyone. The deal is his knee is growing funny (the top bone is bigger than the bottom bone or something) and there are ways to correct it. We can correct it now by having (gulp) a staple put in or we can watch it, hope it corrects on its own but if it doesn’t, he’ll have to correct it later in his life. My feeling is the staple’s not a bad option and it’s outpatient and he’ll walk out of the hospital that day, but we have to discuss this at lunch tomorrow. Siiigh.
5) But just to keep us on our toes, the boy tripped while we were walking the dogs yesterday and cut his knee pretty well. No word yet if that mysteriously corrected anything with above issue.
