But first…good news/bad news:
1) Bad News: Gene is still sick and will not be going to IN.
2) Good News: I still get to go.
Flying out of here Friday AM (have to be at the airport around 7 am — damn you, Hotwire!). The rest of it is up in the air, but I plan to stay in the hotel we’d booked Saturday and Sunday nights and stay at my parents house the rest of the time. I’m still leaving IN on Wednesday. (oh, sad. By this time next week I’ll be here and it will all be over). I think I will rent a car for at least part of the time I’m up there. No idea if I’m going to go visit the Columbus contingent. I’d really like to, but it’s quite a haul for a lazy girl like me.
This plus the stress from earlier this week has given me a headache with a capital F, so I’m going to go do the 10,000 things I’m supposed to do. First, though, Advil.
