(BTW, I love the internet and my blog – I called Bill’s room a cesspool and an hour later he was bitching at me for it!)
So today, my brother is a graduate. It took him seven years to complete his degree but he did most of that paying for college on his own. If I’d had the same problem, I can’t guaranteee I would have finished even in 25 years. I still give him a lot of crap for the Seven Year Plan and for graduating from IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis) instead of regular Purdue University in W. Lafayette, but hey, my alma mater is most high school seniors idea of a safety school.
In all honesty, I’m so proud of him. Plus, in a few years, he’ll be able to buy and sell each one of us!
Also, the graduation ceremony was much less cult like than Melissa’s OSU graduation last month. No using your arms to spell out IUPUI – although, it would have been easier than making that H in OHIO.
To sum it all up, Congratulations Macaulay, you’re finally as smart as your big sister.
(Did I tell you he is considering grad school?)
