Calm down, I’m not calling Mormons geeks…but take a look at this picture and tell me what YOU think. Gene and I went to Best Buy and while we were waiting for a sales guy to show us the notebook computers, the Mormon geeks (as in computer geeks) kept streaking by, all dressed in their white shirts and black ties. I wanted to shout “Hey, John Smith to the rescue!”
Har har har.
Anyway, we walked out with a Gateway notebook for yours truly. On the way to our late lunch, Gene says “I think it goes without saying, but just in case you don’t know, THIS is your cruise.” Yeah, and my anniversary present. And Christmas. And maybe birthday. All in all, my new computer was costlier than his new gun (you remember, the “fun” gun…or is it the carry gun?) but when you factor in the holster he’s looking at and his propsenity toward going ass-wild at iTunes, I think things are equal. ‘Sides, even stepmothers get Mother’s Day presents, right?
Hmm. Never in my life did I think I’d compare a gun and a computer. What the hell happened to me?
And, remember when I said I’d have 3 dead fuschia plants? Yeah. On the bright side, some of my….err…violas(?) have been resurrected so maybe I’ll come out ahead.
Yep, I’m giggling about that, too.
The GeekSquad. Hah. That’s kind of funny.
The last time I went to Best Buy was about three years ago, I guess, so I’ve never seen them in action. But I can just imagine them gazing up in the sky for the Geek Sign or something.
You know, like the Bat Sign. And the Superman Sign. You know. With the spotlight.
Yeah.
