“I Love My Life”
Thursday was our 3 year anniversary. We celebrated at a restaurant a few miles away from the house. Yummy food – wild salmon and curried corn for me, swordfish for Gene, roast beef for the boy. The service was underwhelming, so we may not go back for awhile. We each got each other cards and that was it on the literal present front. All things considered, the Murano (which I have still not screwed up, go me) is enough for me for a long, long time and, well, it’s less functional but Gene’s gun is enough for him. I know this because I said so.
Today I got up early (ish – maybe around 8?) and finished cleaning up the kitchen from last night’s yummy tuna steak dinner (mmmm) and then went to the grocery for some breakfast supplies – eggs, bacon. And then I made breakfast, and lo, it was yummy. Blueberry muffins, eggs, bacon, etc. The three of us really enjoyed it.
Right now, I still need to get cleaned up then we are hitting the library so I can pick up my new book. I don’t know why the boy wants to go – he’s reading Ender’s Game and should have Harry Potter by Monday. I want to go because I am super excited about the crappy chick lit book because it is, in short, NOT ATLAS.
No one will get this, but I’m up to John Galt’s radio speech in Atlas and it’s slooooooow going. I have a wacky theory about Atlas that I’m going to post about soon. If it gets read by crazy Ayn Rand fans, they will probably hunt me down and shoot me, but only if they can find Cheesecake City on the map.
Sooo, yeah, bring on the fluff.
