So much going on, I haven’t had the energy or whogivesacrap to actually post.
Tuesday was exciting. 2.5 hours to import exactly 1366 pieces of employee data. Then a run in with a psycho from elsewhere in the neighborhood. I was stopped at a stopsign in a 3 way stop and he pulled up to another stop sign just as I was going to start up again. He stopped for about a third of a second and then starts up. I had to brake and HE gets out of his stupid van (earning him the name Mr. Van Asshole) and tells me that KIDS play there (there’s a park in the middle of the huge traffic circle we were at) and that KIDS have been hit there and PLEASE stop because I was at a STOP SIGN.
I said, “Sir, I stopped.”
“No you didn’t.”
So I listened to his stupid speech and we continued on.
What an asshole. Van Asshole, even.
And then… yesterday I was at work 8 hours, like usual. But first I had 90 minutes of PT, so my day went from 8 AM (PT until 9:30) and then work from 9:30-6:45. Ugh. Massive payroll issues, just like usual. We always have had payroll issues, even when we were using an outside source to process payroll. Since bringing payroll in house, the problems have just increased.
Yesterday was the worst. The process I mentioned above (2.5 hours, remember?) I had to repeat TWICE. Actually, three times. Only the last time actually worked. Ugh. Stuff that we’re done with usually around 11 AM we finished about 4, and the stuff that we are usually done with by 1 PM we finished at 6:30. This place makes me crazy.
On the bright side, I may have an interview in the future. I’ll report more, but I’ve got a husband who wants to finally watch Six Feet Under.
