Wahhh. The good news, is that I don’t feel icky anymore. I even ate an entire caramel apple (I bought them yesterday at the big mega mall).
Anyway, my weekend: Saturday, Gene and I took the dogs for grooming and picked them up around 2. We had grandiose plans of grocery shopping, but it didn’t work out. We did manage a delicious lunch. Later, I went to the mega mall all by myself. So nice! At Burlington Coat Factory (they’re more than great coats…yeah, they’re ugly clothes too…and a baby section…) I heard my name called and it was one of Gene’s former co-workers and his wife. When we originally moved to Cheesecake City, we were very close with them. We almost built the same house as them, in the same neighborhood, maybe even on the same street. But time passed, Gene left the company, and we’ve seen them maybe twice since the wedding. It was nice to catch up, and we all agreed that we need to get together, but I don’t know if it’ll happen.
I went to the mega mall to indulge my baby stuff browsing. Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx outlet (and the Bass Pro store, but that’s unrelated), and, across the street, Babies R Us. BCF and TJM were both busts of epic proprotions, but BRU was interesting. I stood open mouthed and stupidly staring at 3 strollers, trying to figure out the difference between them (they’re all the same brand but the price difference is $150, so WTF?).
Gack…twelve hours from now, I’ll be at work. Booo, hiisssss.
