My MIL was in town for approximately 9 days. We cooked a lot of meals while she was here. Meatloaf, beef stew, coney dogs (yeah! she got to try just about every meal I can make…and she made the stew, so don’t get excited). Anyway, so she leaves and the MIL effect is still in the house…(unfortunately, I couldn’t bring myself to ask her to clean my house, which would have been humiliating but really, really helpful…)
I cooked again. I made pork tenderloin in a bag. And no one died. Seriously! NO ONE. And yesterday (STOP LAUGHING, D!) I actually bothered to put together lunch. Beef corn dogs (very, very good) and microwavable french fries that were seriously the same as McDonalds. Seriously.
So, I guess my point is, the MIL effect must be going. The stretch between pork tenderloin and corn dogs is a bit much.
