Yuck, mopped the kitchen floor for the first time in a week or two today. (Thank you, puppies, for tracking new mud in within a few hours). So, how are you supposed to keep your mop hair free? I typically vacuum my kitchen floor (Dyson changed my life, y’all) before mopping and I still end up with approximately 1,000 dog hairs sticking awkwardly out of the mop. I think I may take the loser way out and just buy cheapo sponge mops at the dollar store or somesuch cheapo mop store. That way, if I end up with a Hazmat ready mop after one or two uses, what am I out? It was especially bad today because I was too lazy to vaccum first and just went ahead and mopped. (But hey – did you miss the part about back pain? Why risk that again?).
