boneheads were backing up system when I was trying to PRINT PAYCHECKS, so all I got was 12 checks and pages of gobledegook. They didn’t tell anyone they were backing up the system, although it was slooooow all day Thursday. Morons. So, I had to print paychecks today and send them to the restaurants via Saturday FedEx. Do you know how much 40 Saturday FedEx costs? I would estimate at least $20 per package. What kills me is that our IT staff is long gone, so we actually paid a vendor to fuck up my payroll by backing up the system on a critical day.
I think everyone understands what happened and that it was wrong to do it, but I think I’ll have to stick my foot up someone’s ass if it happens again.
