So far, on Elaine’s highly official of things to do this weekend…
1) Dogs are at the groomers
2) Car’s oil has been changed and car is back in my driveway. Hooray!
3) Gene and the boy are sitting and playing some stupid-ass Star Wars computer game, so I’m not sure what the hell is going on as far as doing anything of value. If this turns into another weekend where we don’t do anything besides stare at screens (TV, computer, etc), I will lose it.
4) Haven’t purchased festive Halloween lights. If the guys don’t look alive and SOON, I will go over to Target and handle that. Gene agrees with me that using those plastic cord thingies is the best idea for securing the lights to our porch. (We’re not big fans of nails, which is why the sum total of things hanging in my house consists of the painting from Gene’s BIL, 2 calendars and a “Unix Shell Commands” poster).
Will report back. If I can pull off the major coup of Halloween lighting, I’ll take a picture tonight and post it!
