Scooby is not a food obsessed dog (Booper is, which is part of why she outweights Scoob by 5 or so pounds). Betty, on the other hand, has learned to grab a treat in mid-air (that is, if we stand 2 feet away from her and throw a treat at her, it does not touch the ground). Scooby, when we throw a treat toward him, usually let it bounce off his head before he’d grab it.
Gene worked with him yesterday and now he can grab the treat in mid-air. Hooray!
