Had a meeting with my new (?) boss and new supervisor. Never actually had a conversation with the boss before, so that’s different. My supervisor is someone I’ve worked with since I joined the company and previous to this we were basically on the same level. I’m not concerned that I’ll have trouble respecting her authori-tay but it will be different.
This evening was my biweekly manicure with the fabulous Patty. This visit’s color is: God Save the Queen’s Nails. It’s a little dark but it’s not that vamp color from the 1990s. Should be OK.
Tomorrow I give what may be one of my last manager training sessions. If I am supposed to do most of my old job until they find someone new, I wonder how that affects one of the major talking points…doesn’t seem fair to jump the gun, ya know?
