So, Awesome-O II is gone now. He never made it out of the cargo section of the Murano. Gene took him to our town’s Town Hall, which was locked up tight due to the holiday. Eventually, he found the local Police Department and they told him to take the dog to the Emergency Vet, which takes Good Samaritan cases for free. (He gave them a donation to defray the costs).
Problem solved. Now, here’s hoping he finds a good home. I never saw him, but Gene said that he was a lab puppy, around 60 lbs, black with brown paws. Awwww.
