1) Vamp
2) Limpid
3) Oh, hell….there’s another one. I think I looked it up online while at work (shh, don’t tell, ‘k?)…let’s dial into the office email and see if I can figure it out…is it languid? ersatz? hmm, the only things that pop up when I hit the down arrow on Merriam-Webster’s website are “ad hominem”, “ersatz”, “aggregate”, “commence” and “basal” (no, not “basil” – “basal”). Grrr… maybe I looked it up while online on my 2nd computer at work (a total necessity, believe me). I’d almost believe it was “languid” but I don’t remember that being the definition.
Hmmm, can I use all of these words to make a sentence? “Elaine, you languid vamp, your ersatz ad hominem attack was aggregreat*!” But that misses “commence” and “basal.” Probably an easy fix but I remember what basal means, and, ewww.
*yes, I was being FUNNY. Aggregrate means something totally different.
