A year ago today I was in Chicago for the wedding of my friend Julie. 10/31/03 was her bachelorette party, which we had at the Cheesecake Factory at the watertower. Julie, the other MOH Amanda and I started off the night at the bar. Julie, of course, was a good girl and mostly drank sodas or hot chocolate but Amanda and I more than made up for it (I hope I didn’t do anything to embarass the bride or her family). I remember crying because I was worried that being married would change my friendship with Julie. Tomorrow is her first wedding anniversary and I am so glad to say that I was wrong and lastly, I am so happy for Julie and Joe for making it through the first year of marriage.
