Thanksgiving 2007 is coming up way too quickly. For once, my in-laws aren’t coming down here to celebrate with us. At one point we had plans to go up there instead but I really don’t want to. Ideally, I’d love for Thanksgiving to just be Gene and I this year (super ideally, the boy would be there, but I don’t think I’ll get that).
If we stay here for Thanksgiving, hopefully we can see both families at Xmas instead. This year I’d love to spend real live Xmas with my family and whatever red-headed stepchild of Xmas with the in-laws. (Not because I don’t truly love my in-laws, but I have seen them every Christmas day since 1999…enough, y’know?). This is the time of year when I wish we lived up there so I didn’t have this problem. Luckily, it’s also the time of year when it’s freeeezing up there, so it makes returning to Cheesecake City a little easier.
Gahh. Geez I hope I’m pregnant or have a very young child next Xmas so all of this is easily decided.
