So I had my hot date w/ The Dude (a.k.a. the Consultant guy) Thursday and I came out of it w/ mixed feelings.
First, I totally forgot to trash New Boss’s Boss and New Boss. Dangit. I hear that my sister accountants did a pretty good job at it, though (at least in regard to New Boss’s Boss. New Boss is such an nonentity that when she’s out of sight she’s totally out of mind).
Second, we discussed payroll a lot. The Dude doesn’t understand why outsourcing payroll again is going to be so damn lovely.
The Dude wanted to know what, if I were the Owner of the Company, should keep me up at night. Everyone else nailed this one and I just kinda yammered. Ugh, I hate wasting my big chance.
What should keep the owner up at night????? Holy crap, what shouldn’t??
