Anyway! Today was a funky day. It seems today was Accident Day (don’t worry, I’m fine): first, while turning off the highway offramp to go to work today, a truck (and not just a truck, but a truck with a trailer) ran a red light and would have really effed me up if I hadn’t had the good sense to think “Hmm, I don’t think he’s going to stop”. I also had the good sense to flip him off and, if given the opportunity, would have yelled “Hey FUCKER, watch the light.” (Again, aren’t we all glad I don’t loose Evil Elaine on the world?). Then at lunch there was a huge accident on the way back to the office. I’d gone out for a sandwich with my buddy at work and it ended up taking 2 1/2 hours to get back. Just nuts. Our office building is only accessible by 1 (count ’em, ONE) road, so if there is an accident (second time this week), we’re all stuck in traffic. Maybe next time we buy a building, we can buy one that’s only accessible by hydroplane.
Weekend plans are few. The boy is in town. I have a headache. I am so ready to go to bed!
In good news, TPTB has made the opening for the second Bridget Jones movie NEXT WEEKEND. Oh, YEAHHHH. I’m planning on going next Saturday afternoon, and if it’s any good I’ll go that night after Gene goes to poker. Mmmm, Colin Firth… Now, there’s a fun list! Hot Famous People! 1) Don Henley circa ’92 (after he cut the hair, before he started to lose the rest of it) 2) Colin Firth circa right freaking now 3) That hot guy from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Damn, damn, damn. Am I the only one who watched his short lived show Lucky (I think it was on USA)?
